9 Months Old!

And, once again, life has overwhelmed me and I am very late with Eli's 9 month update. He turned 9 months old on January 22nd. It was a very eventful month and I got A LOT of pictures for your viewing pleasure!

We celebrated Eli's first Christmas, and of course, he was completely spoiled rotten. He had a good time unwrapping presents and checking out all of his new, fun stuff!

Nick's family came out to us this year, which was so awesome. We had a great time hanging out and even went exploring around Nashville:

Eli even got to meet (my best friend) his Aunt Alice & Uncle Garrett:

The beginning of a beautiful friendship

We also had a fun trip up to Ohio for a wedding (although we don't have any pictures from it yet). We made a pit stop along the way in Cincinnati and met up with Aunt Jenna (a friend from college):

Eli and I also had tons of fun playing in and watching the SNOW:

Another highlight of the month was a visit from Uncle Spencey! He was thoroughly entertaining with all of the fun animal noises he made and Eli couldn't get enough:

Absolutely fascinated

The BIG news this month is that Eli started crawling! He had been scooting for awhile, but he finally figured out how to move his arms & hasn't stopped since. He's getting pretty quick!

On the move!

He's also working hard on standing:

And has also gotten very good and quick at pulling himself to standing:

We have had to do a lot of babyproofing, since he has started getting into everything:

A cute, little troublemaker

He also did a lot more teething this month, and made this face a lot, as a result:

Bulldog face

He has also started playing "night night":

He ate a lot more fun foods too, including carrots, beef, cheese, scrambled egg yolk, blueberries, kiwi, and pasta:
Mmm, pasta!

Although his favorites are still definitely yogurt and tofu:

Eli had his 9 month check-up and his growth has slowed down a little bit. Although, he's still doing great! We found out he is now 19 lbs, 16 oz (39th percentile), 27 inches tall (18th percentile) and his head circumference is 17.5 inches (33rd percentile).

We spent as much time as possible outside in the unseasonably warm weather:

As I said before, I took a lot of pictures this month. It was pretty eventful! And, it helps that we have a pretty photogenic kid. Here are a few random shots:

Shark attack!

Fighting naptime

Rump in the air

It was much easier this month without the "x months" sign, so I took lots of pictures. Enjoy!
